Our Safaris

A safari is a journey. This is the meaning of the word in Swahili, the language of East Africa. Your journey into Africa starts with Kili Climb Africa Safaris ™

Tanzania is regularly voted as one of the best safari destinations in Africa and the safari can be conducted all year-round. There is no bad time to travel as each season offers something special with both the dry season and the wet season offering plenty different experiences. During the dry season the skies are clear, the days are sunny and you will see the harsh sun suck the moisture from the landscape, baking the earth a dusty red while the wet season brings thick bush, high grasses and luxuriant scenery. This is also when the migratory birds are present and bird watching is at its best. The best chance of seeing the wildebeest migration in the Central Serengeti is from December to April with February being the calving season and an excellent time to see predator action. During the month of August, you are likely to see the migration in the Northern Serengeti near the Mara River. Overall, the best wildlife viewing months are during the dry season from January to February and June to October as there is less vegetation and the animals concentrate around the waterholes and rivers. There are less bugs due to droughtiness .
