Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai – “The Mountain of God”

Lake Natron – Home of the Flamingos

Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha / Moshi – Lake Natron
After breakfast, your Kiliclimb Africa Safaris driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley as you head to Lake Natron.
Upon arrival, check in at your camp and freshen up before visiting the Ngare Sero Waterfalls, cascading beautifully down the escarpment.
Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay under the African stars.

Day 2: Lake Natron Exploration
After breakfast, explore the wonders of Lake Natron—its otherworldly landscapes, the mirror-like water surfaces, and large flocks of pink flamingos.
Spend the afternoon relaxing at the camp and preparing for your midnight trek to Ol Doinyo Lengai.

Day 3: Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai Trek – Return to Arusha / Moshi
Your ascent begins around midnight, guided by an experienced local Maasai mountain guide. The climb takes about 5–6 hours, reaching the summit in time for a breathtaking sunrise over the Great Rift Valley.
After descending and enjoying breakfast at camp, you’ll drive back to Arusha or Moshi, passing through traditional Maasai villages for an authentic cultural experience along the way.
