Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, your private KiliClimb guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. After check-in, you’ll receive a briefing about your safari.
Early arrivals may enjoy a complimentary cultural tour of Arusha, visiting spots like the Maasai Market or the Africa Heritage Gallery.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – The Elephant Realm

After breakfast, drive approximately 2 hours to Tarangire National Park. Famed for its ancient baobab trees and dense elephant populations, Tarangire is a haven for wildlife. Enjoy thrilling game drives and observe giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, lions, leopards, and over 500 bird species. A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot by the Tarangire River, followed by more wildlife viewing before heading to your lodge in Mto wa Mbu.

Day 3: Journey to Serengeti – Endless Plains Await

Today you’ll traverse the Ngorongoro Highlands en route to Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy a stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views. You also have the optional opportunity to visit a traditional Maasai village and learn about their ancient culture and customs.

By late afternoon, arrive in the Central Serengeti (Seronera region), famed for its year-round wildlife concentration. Enjoy a game drive as the golden sun sets over the plains.

Day 4: Full-Dy Serengeti Exploration

Rise early and venture deep into the Serengeti. Your guide will tailor the day based on wildlife activity, possibly exploring the north, south, east, or western corridors of the park. Search for the Big Five, witness predators in action, and follow the paths of the Great Migration herds if in season.

Enjoy lunch in the bush and return to your camp at sunset.

Day 5: Sunrise Safari & Transfer to Ngorongoro

Start the day with a sunrise game drive—prime time for predator sightings and extraordinary light for photography. Return for brunch, then begin your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a game drive en route. Arrive at your lodge perched on the crater rim or nearby plains in the evening.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Ang’ata Camp (or equivalent)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Safari – A Natural Wonder

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast for a half-day game drive in what’s often referred to as “Africa’s Eden.” The crater floor is home to over 25,000 animals including black rhinos, lions, hyenas, buffaloes, and large flocks of flamingos.

After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, ascend the crater and return to Mto wa Mbu for overnight rest.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park – Flamingos & Forests

Your final day begins with a morning drive through Serengeti and onward to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into this UNESCO World Heritage Site for a half-day game drive in one of the most densely populated wildlife areas on earth—home to the rare black rhino, hippos, lions, and flamingos.
After a picnic lunch, continue back to Arusha Airport for your evening flight to Zanzibar or international departure.
