This adventure offers ample time to explore the renowned Serengeti while also venturing into Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, and the unique landscapes of Lake Natron.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
We’ll pick you up at 8:00 am from your hotel and head to Tarangire National Park, known for its stunning baobab trees and large elephant population. Enjoy a scenic lunch spot with wildlife views, followed by an afternoon game drive before settling into your lodge.

Day 2: Lake Natron
After breakfast, drive to Lake Natron, a unique soda lake rich in minerals and birdlife. After lunch, take a guided flamingo walk and return to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Lake Natron to Serengeti National Park
Depart Lake Natron after breakfast for Central Serengeti with a picnic lunch en route. Enjoy a game drive in the iconic plains and arrive at your camp in the evening.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
After a good breakfast, you’ll leave your lodge and head to the Ngorongoro Crater.
This amazing place, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Seven Wonders, was created about three million years ago. It’s 610 meters deep and about 260 square kilometers wide. Home to around 25,000 animals, the crater is one of the best spots in Tanzania to see wildlife. In just a short time, you may see zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, elephants, and many of the 500+ bird species that live there.
If you’re lucky, you might even see rare black rhinos grazing in the open grasslands. After a full day of exploring and enjoying a picnic lunch, you’ll leave the crater in the afternoon and return to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.

Day 4: Central Serengeti National Park
Full-day game drive in Central Serengeti. Your guide will tailor the itinerary based on your preferences to maximize wildlife viewing and relaxation.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in this unique caldera teeming with wildlife. After lunch, travel onward to your lodge for rest.

Marera Valley Lodge (Mid-range lodge located 1-2hr drive from the Crater)
Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, visit Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and flamingos. Return to Arusha by evening where your safari concludes.
