Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins as we pick you up from your Arusha hotel. After meeting your guide and safari chef, you’ll journey toward Tarangire National Park, known as the Kingdom of Elephants.

Highlights

  • Ancient baobab trees towering over the savanna
  • The largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania
  • Lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalo, zebras, giraffes & more
  • Picnic lunch overlooking the Tarangire River

After an exhilarating full-day game drive, you’ll continue to Mto wa Mbu campsite for dinner and overnight.

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2: Mto wa Mbu → Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to the vast plains of the Serengeti.

Stops Along the Way

  • Ngorongoro Viewpoint: Incredible photo stop overlooking the crater
  • Optional Maasai Village Tour: Learn about Maasai culture, history & traditions (20–45 mins)

Upon entering the Serengeti, game drives begin immediately! The landscapes open up endlessly, and luck may reward you with sightings of elephants, lions, zebras, cheetahs, and migrating herds.

Arrive at Seronera Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring Serengeti National Park, Africa’s wildlife capital.

Your guide will take you to the most active wildlife zones—north, south, east, or west—depending on animal migration patterns.

You may witness:

  • Lions lounging on kopjes
  • Cheetahs scanning the plains
  • Leopards resting on acacia branches
  • Endless herds of wildebeest and zebras

Return to Seronera campsite for dinner.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4: Serengeti Sunrise Game Drive → Ngorongoro

Wake up at 6:00 AM for one of Africa’s greatest moments—a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti.

Enjoy the crisp morning air as golden light spreads across the plains, where predators are often active.

After brunch at camp, drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with game viewing along the way.
Arrive at Simba Campsite on the crater rim for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour → Mto wa Mbu

Descend 650 meters into the magical Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World.

With its permanent water sources, the crater is home to:

  • Black rhinos (rare but possible!)
  • Lions, hyenas, cheetahs
  • Zebras, wildebeest, hippos, buffalo
  • Over 400 bird species

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool before ascending the crater rim and driving back to Mto wa Mbu for your final night of camping.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park → Arusha

Your last day brings you to the lush, green paradise of Lake Manyara National Park.

Highlights:

  • Thousands of flamingos coloring the lake pink
  • Tree-climbing lions (rare but iconic)
  • Troops of baboons & blue monkeys
  • Hippo pool and hot springs
  • Over 350 bird species

After lunch, drive back to Arusha where your safari concludes.
