Full Itinerary

Day 1: Tarangire National Park – The Elephant Kingdom

Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. After meeting your professional safari guide and chef, we depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic 2-hour drive through Maasai landscapes and open savannah.

Tarangire is one of Tanzania’s most photogenic parks, known for:

  • Towering baobab trees
  • The mighty Tarangire River
  • Massive elephant herds
  • Rich predator sightings

Your guide will follow areas with the most wildlife activity, often spotting lions lounging under acacia trees, leopard shadows in branches, or cheetahs surveying the plains.

At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the Tarangire River—while playful monkeys and baboons curiously keep their distance.

Around 4:30 PM, we exit the park and head to Mto wa Mbu, where you will settle into your campsite for dinner and an overnight rest under the African skies.

Meals included: Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Budget Camping (lodges available at extra cost)

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – World’s Largest Intact Caldera

After breakfast, we make our way to one of Africa’s most remarkable wonders: the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World.

Descending 650 meters to the crater floor feels like entering a natural kingdom with permanent wildlife residents thanks to year-round water and grazing. Expect to see:

  • Lions
  • Buffalo
  • Zebras
  • Hyenas
  • Hippos
  • Wildebeest
  • And possibly the rare black rhino

In this magical ecosystem, animals roam freely with minimal migration, making it an ideal location for wildlife viewing even in a short timeframe.

After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, we ascend the crater rim and begin our drive back to Arusha, arriving later in the afternoon.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: Arusha (Hotel optional at extra cost)

Day 3: Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Tour – Kilimanjaro’s Hidden Treasure

Your final day takes you deep into the green foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro—home to the warm and welcoming Chagga tribe.

Materuni Waterfalls Hike

After registration at the village office, begin a scenic 40-minute hike through tropical vegetation, banana plantations, and traditional Chagga farmlands. Your guide will share stories about local traditions, flora, fauna, and community life.

At the end of the trail awaits the spectacular 80-meter Materuni Waterfall, plunging into a crystal-clear natural pool. You’re welcome to take a refreshing swim—so bring your swimwear!

Traditional Chagga Lunch

Back in the village, enjoy a locally prepared feast, packed with authentic flavors. Don’t miss the chance to try the famous banana beer, a unique cultural treat.

Coffee Experience – From Bean to Cup

The tour continues with a lively and interactive coffee-making session. You’ll:

  • Learn how coffee is grown, harvested, dried, roasted, and ground
  • Participate in the grinding process
  • Sing and dance the traditional Chagga songs during preparation
  • Taste the freshest cup of organic Arabica coffee you’ve ever had

This is more than a tour—it’s a deep dive into culture, tradition, and community.
