Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.
After check-in, enjoy time to relax after your journey or explore the hotel surroundings.

In the evening, your safari guide will conduct a detailed safari briefing, covering the itinerary, safety guidelines, and wildlife expectations. This is also a good opportunity to ask questions and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, a scenic journey through Maasai villages and open savannahs. Upon arrival, begin a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park.

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of bird species. The Tarangire River attracts animals throughout the year, offering excellent game-viewing opportunities.

In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive to your lodge or tented camp near Tarangire.

Day 3: Tarangire – Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area with breathtaking views of the highlands. The drive offers chances to see Maasai herders with their cattle.

Arrive in Central Serengeti (Seronera region) in the afternoon and enjoy an exciting game drive. This area is rich in wildlife year-round and is especially known for predator sightings, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards, due to the permanent water sources.

Day 4: Central Serengeti – Northern Serengeti (Mara River Region)

After breakfast, continue your safari north toward the Mara River area, the heart of the Great Wildebeest Migration during the season. Enjoy game viewing en route as you traverse the vast Serengeti plains.

Arrive in Northern Serengeti in the afternoon and enjoy a game drive near the Mara River, where large herds of wildebeest and zebras gather. This area is also home to crocodiles, hippos, and predators that follow the migration.

Day 5: Northern Serengeti – Full Day Game Drives

Spend a full day exploring the Mara River ecosystem with morning and afternoon game drives. Depending on the season, you may witness dramatic river crossings, one of nature’s most spectacular wildlife events.

Your guide will position you strategically along the riverbanks to maximize viewing opportunities while also exploring surrounding plains for big cats and other wildlife.

Day 6: Serengeti – Karatu (Ngorongoro Highlands)

After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive as you begin your journey out of Serengeti. This is often a great time to spot predators returning from night hunts.

Drive toward the fertile Karatu Highlands, located near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The landscape changes from open plains to lush farmland and rolling hills. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon for relaxation and dinner.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife areas. The crater floor supports an incredible concentration of animals, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino.

Enjoy a half-day game drive with a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the crater. In the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha.

Day 8: Mount Kilimanjaro Foothills – Departure

Later, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzanian safari adventure.
