Full Itinerary

Day 1 – Day 1 – Welcome to Tanzania: The Gateway to the Wild

Your Tanzanian adventure begins the moment you touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport. A warm welcome awaits from your private KiliClimb Africa Safaris guide, ready to whisk you away in a comfortable vehicle to your elegant sanctuary for the night—Kibo Palace Hotel in Arusha.

As the sun sets behind Mount Meru, unwind by the pool or enjoy a cocktail on the terrace. Dinner is served in the hotel’s exquisite restaurant, where African hospitality meets global cuisine.

Included:

  • Airport pickup
  • Dinner & overnight stay at Kibo Palace Hotel
  • Meal plan: B, L, D

Day 2 – Into the Wild: Tarangire National Park

After a refreshing breakfast, your journey begins with a scenic drive to the soul-stirring landscapes of Tarangire National Park. This park is a photographer’s paradise—dotted with grand baobab trees and bisected by the life-giving Tarangire River.

Your afternoon game drive introduces you to the park’s staggering biodiversity: enormous elephant herds, elusive leopards resting in acacias, and graceful giraffes weaving through the woodlands. In the dry season, this park becomes a haven for migrating herds, and predators lie in wait.

Retire to your intimate tented haven at Tortilis Tarangire Camp, nestled deep in nature.

Included:

  • Park fees and game drives
  • Full-board accommodation at Tortilis Tarangire Camp
  • Meal plan: B, L, D

Day 3 – Descent into a Lost World: Ngorongoro Crater

Today, you leave the golden plains of Tarangire for the highlands of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, witness changing ecosystems and Masai bomas peppering the landscape. By midday, you’ll arrive at the rim of the legendary Ngorongoro Crater.

After lunch, prepare to descend 600 meters into the heart of this UNESCO World Heritage Site—a self-contained ecosystem often referred to as Africa’s Eden. The crater floor teems with wildlife: black rhinos grazing quietly, lion prides basking in the sun, and elephants walking gracefully across the open plains. With any luck, you might spot all of the Big Five in one game drive.

You’ll spend the evening at the majestic Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, perched on the crater’s edge with unmatched views and atmosphere.

Included:

  • Crater tour and park entry
  • Accommodation at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge

Meal plan: B, L, D

Day 4 to 6 – The Great Migration Realm: Serengeti National Park

Leaving the crater behind, you journey through history and prehistory alike with a stop at Olduvai Gorge, the cradle of humankind. Here, archaeologists Louis and Mary Leakey uncovered ancient hominin fossils that redefined our understanding of human evolution.

By afternoon, the horizon unfolds into the iconic Serengeti National Park, a land as eternal as it is breathtaking. Over the next three days, immerse yourself in this kingdom of wildlife where the Great Migration brings nature’s most dramatic spectacle to life: over a million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles thunder across the plains, stalked by cunning predators like lions and cheetahs.

Optional: Experience the Serengeti from above with a sunrise hot air balloon safari—complete with champagne breakfast in the bush. (Add-on: $546 per person)

Your nights are spent in luxury under canvas at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Camp, where the wild lullabies of the savannah surround your cozy tent.
