Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

In the afternoon, you’ll travel to Ngorongoro and check into a lodge perched on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. This prime location provides easy access to the crater’s floor the next morning, when wildlife activity is at its peak.
The Ngorongoro Crater, a colossal volcanic caldera formed three million years ago, is celebrated as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and stands out as a remarkable geological site. It hosts a diverse ecosystem with over 25,000 resident animals. Day 5: Tarangire National Park
Following breakfast, your safari guide will meet you for a leisurely 2-hour drive southwest to Tarangire National Park.
