Maweninga Camp is uniquely positioned atop a large rocky outcrop (kopje) within Tarangire National Park, offering one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the region. Its elevated location provides sweeping views of Lake Burunge, Silale Swamp, and the vast Tarangire plains.

Tarangire is renowned for its impressive elephant population, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. During the dry season (June to October), animals gather around the Tarangire River and nearby water sources, creating outstanding game viewing opportunities. Guests may encounter elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of bird species.

The camp is designed to blend seamlessly with its natural environment.
