Lake Burunge Tented Camp is beautifully positioned on the shores of Lake Burunge, nestled between Tarangire National Park and the Lake Manyara ecosystem. The camp sits within a private wildlife concession, offering guests exclusive game viewing experiences in addition to safaris inside Tarangire National Park.
The area is famous for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife populations. During the dry season (June to October), wildlife congregates around water sources, creating spectacular game viewing opportunities. Guests may encounter elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of bird species.
The camp is thoughtfully designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings. Elevated wooden platforms support spacious tented rooms, each offering panoramic views of Lake Burunge or the surrounding bushland.
