Acacia Migration Camp – Ndutu is a seasonal safari tented camp positioned in one of the most dramatic wildlife arenas of East Africa. Located in the southern reaches of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, near the Ndutu region, this camp is designed for travellers wanting to be immersed in nature at its most vibrant. During the prime months of the Wildebeest Migration (approximately November to March) the camp sits amid the action  vast plains, migrating herds, newborn calves, and predators on the hunt.

Location & Setting

  • The camp operates in the Ndutu area, in the southern part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, near the border with the Serengeti National Park.
  • From December to March (and sometimes overlapping), this region becomes a core arena for the great migration, especially the calving season, making the camp’s location hugely advantageous.
  • The landscape features open savannah, short‑grass plains, and scattered acacia woodlands — ideal terrain for game viewing and photography.

Accommodation & Facilities

  • The camp is composed of about 19 safari tents, including family and honeymoon options.
  • Each tent offers en‑suite facilities (bathroom, flushing toilet, hot shower) in a semi‑permanent canvas‑camp structure, blending comfort with adventure.
  • Common areas: dining tent, lounge/bar, outdoor seating and sundowner spots. The atmosphere aims to be relaxed yet well‑organised.
