Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire – Night Game Drive

After arriving in Tarangire National Park, you’ll settle into your camp before setting out on a night game drive around 7:30 PM. Your guide will give you a short safety briefing at the gate. Then, with the night sky above, you’ll explore Tarangire in a whole new light—literally.

At night, you’re more likely to spot elusive animals like leopards, porcupines, genets, and even lions on the move. It’s an extraordinary experience that reveals a hidden world of wildlife most visitors never get to see.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Tarangire

After breakfast, spend the day exploring more of Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and rich variety of animals like zebras, giraffes, lions, and cheetahs. The Tarangire River runs through the park and attracts plenty of wildlife, especially during dry months.

Enjoy a relaxed afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge near the village of Mto wa Mbu.

Day 3: Journey to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, begin your scenic drive to Serengeti National Park. Along the way, take in changing landscapes as you move from highlands to open plains. Once inside the park, visit the Hippo Pool and watch these massive animals lounge in the water beside crocodiles.

You’ll likely spot animals like elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and if you’re lucky—big cats. Spend the evening relaxing at your camp as the sun sets over the Serengeti.

Day 4: Exploring Serengeti – Big Cats & Open Plains

Day 5: Last Serengeti Safari & Drive to Karatu

Continue your drive to the Ngorongoro highlands and arrive at your charming lodge near Karatu for dinner and rest.

Dy 6: Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Return to Arusha

After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, begin your drive back to Arusha. We’ll drop you off at your hotel or at the airport, depending on your travel plans.
