Day 1 Arrival-Tarangire National Park

You will embark on a journey through the “land of giants” with a scenic drive across the vast golden savannah of Tarangire National Park. You’ll marvel at the majestic elephants and iconic baobab trees that dot the landscape. You’ll enjoy a delightful picnic lunch by the Tarangire River, taking in the stunning views.

Be vigilant with your meal, as mischievous local monkeys may try to snatch a tasty treat! After an action-packed game drive, you’ll retire to your chosen accommodation for a freshly prepared dinner and a well-deserved rest, preparing for another exciting day ahead.

Day 2 Karatu to Serengeti National Park

You will embark on an early departure after breakfast, traversing the Great Rift Valley’s floor and ascending the escarpment as you make your way through the picturesque Ngorongoro Conservation area. You’ll enjoy a pleasant and scenic drive, soaking in the breathtaking vistas along the route to the Serengeti.
You’ll arrive in the Serengeti in the afternoon for an exhilarating game drive until late evening. You’ll indulge in a sumptuous lunch at one of the picnic sites, likely at the Naabi Hill Gate, where you can also stretch your legs and take in the surroundings.

You will experience the rich culture of the Maasai community with a visit to their renowned bomas. You’ll engage in traditional Maasai dances and immerse yourself in their vibrant village culture, known for its lion-hunting traditions. Take the opportunity to shop for souvenirs at the local Maasai market, enriching your journey with authentic cultural experiences.

Day 3 Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Highlands

Day 4 Ngorongoro to Karatu

You’ll embark on a truly unique adventure inside an ancient volcano teeming with remarkable wildlife at the renowned Ngorongoro Crater. Your journey commences with an early breakfast, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience.

Descending to the crater floor early maximizes your chances of encountering rare species such as black rhinos. You will spend the morning exploring the diverse ecosystem of the Ngorongoro Crater, surrounded by its impressive 600-650 meter-high walls. Often likened to a natural zoo, the crater boasts the highest concentration of wild animals, promising an immersive safari experience.

Following a picnic lunch likely enjoyed at a designated spot beside the hippo pool, you’ll ascend the crater rim and depart the Conservation area. You will reflect on the day’s adventures as you conclude your excursion.

Day 5 Lake Manyara-Arusha to Departure

Following breakfast, you will depart from your accommodation for Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival, you will receive a brief overview of the market before continuing to Lake Manyara National Park, a haven for photography enthusiasts.

Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by the vast array of bird species, including impressive flocks of flamingos, making Lake Manyara a premier birding destination. The park offers exceptional opportunities for photographers, with stunning game views.
