Tarangire National Park
Known as the “Home of Elephants”, Tarangire is famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and rich ecosystems. It’s also a prime habitat for lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, baboons, ostriches, pythons, warthogs, and countless bird species.
Ngorongoro Crater
Often described as the 8th Wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking wildlife sanctuary where thousands of animals live within the volcanic caldera. The crater offers some of the easiest wildlife viewing in Africa—including a chance to spot the rare black rhino.

Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire National Park → Mto wa Mbu (Camping)
Your adventure begins early in the morning as our safari team picks you up from your hotel in Arusha. After a warm introduction to your professional safari guide and chef, you’ll begin your journey to Tarangire National Park—a scenic 2-hour drive through Maasai country and open savannah landscapes.
Upon entering Tarangire, the adventure comes alive instantly. This park boasts Tanzania’s largest population of elephants, offering rare opportunities to observe elephant families interacting, playing, and cooling off near the river.
As you explore the diverse landscapes—river valleys, woodlands, and sweeping plains—your guide will take you to the best locations for predator sightings. Whether it’s a lion lounging under acacia shade or a stealthy leopard draped over a tree branch, Tarangire never disappoints.
Midday, you’ll stop at the beautiful Tarangire River picnic site overlooking wildlife-packed scenery. Enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by nature, while playful monkeys and baboons keep a close (but harmless) eye on your snacks.
After lunch, the game drive continues until around 4:30 PM when you exit the park and drive to the vibrant town of Mto wa Mbu, where your campsite awaits. Enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and relax under a star-filled African sky.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater → Return to Arusha
Wake early for breakfast and embark on a breathtaking journey to the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater. As you arrive at the crater rim, the panoramic view will simply take your breath away—the endless green plains, sparkling lakes, and scattered herds form one of Africa’s most spectacular scenes.
Descend 600 meters into the heart of the crater for a full game drive. The fertile crater floor supports enormous populations of wildlife, including:
