Serengeti Walking Camp (Wayo) is a seasonal mobile camp that moves between remote areas of the Serengeti to follow wildlife movements and provide access to exclusive walking zones. Unlike traditional safari camps, this experience focuses on guided walking safaris led by highly trained professional guides and armed rangers.

The camp offers an intimate and adventurous atmosphere, allowing guests to experience the Serengeti from ground level. Walking safaris provide unique opportunities to learn about animal tracks, plants, insects, birdlife, and the intricate ecosystems that make the Serengeti world-famous.

Depending on the season, the camp may be positioned near migration routes, offering chances to witness parts of the Great Migration on foot at a safe distance. Game drives are also incorporated where necessary to reach walking areas or explore further afield.

Accommodation is in spacious walk-in canvas tents designed for comfort while maintaining an authentic bush feel. Evenings are spent around the campfire sharing safari stories under the African sky.
