Its proximity to Tarangire National Park makes it an excellent base for exploring one of Tanzania’s most wildlife-rich parks. Tarangire is particularly famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and high concentration of wildlife during the dry season (June to October), when animals gather along the Tarangire River.
