Location & Seasonality

The camp is located in the northern part of Serengeti National Park (in the Kogatende area) for the period when the Great Wildebeest Migration is crossing north.
From around November to March the camp relocates to the Ndutu region in the southern Serengeti / Ngorongoro Conservation Area, optimizing for the calving season and different migration viewing opportunities.
Access: Roughly a 6-hour drive from Arusha by road; alternatively, flights to Kogatende or Ndutu airstrips reduce travel time significantly.

Accommodation & Facilities

The camp features 19 safari tents including 4 family tents and 1 honeymoon tent (in the higher-spec category) when positioned in the Kogatende northern site.
The tents are semi-permanent (giving a “mobile camp” feel) yet offer comfortable amenities: en-suite bathrooms, flush toilets, hot and cold showers (details vary by tent category/site).
Each tent has a veranda or sitting area overlooking the plains, providing expansive views of Serengeti landscapes and wildlife.
Central communal areas include a dining tent, lounge/bar area, and spaces for sundowners under the acacia canopy.
